Well I think overall, taking this online course has been a great learning experience and has opened my eyes in many regards to different skills and approaches of learning that can be used.
Creating a blog was a great way to make sure I was reflecting and comprehending what was being said and discussed every week.

Hey George,
Just spent a few minutes reading your blog. It is interesting to read about your journey so far. I have found this course difficult in that I haven't studied for 20 years and it took some time to realise that it is not possible to cram an online course. The timeline as set out in the course info needs to be adhered to in order to ensure a smooth passage!
The content of the course is certainly appropriate and provides the opportunity to research and consider a wide range of issues.
Personally I had no idea whet to put in blog - I still don't! But I think that's the whole, its very individual.

I have been studying EDU5471 along side of you and have found your reflections and comments excellent throughout the discussion board.
Your reflections are very thorough and even though you seem as if you are under the pump you seem to have stayed on top of things. I myself have found it very hard to stay up to date as I like you am currently teaching, but on top of that work in the boarding house at school, coach our first XI cricket side and then amoungst all of this try to spend time with my young family.
I find it interesting that you are now going to stop using the blog. Is this because you have others going and you are only going to use this one for this subject? Because I'm planing on doing it differently. I think I will continue to use my blog for personal uses after the assignment.
The only recommendation that I would make to your blog would be maybe consider using links etc which back up your theory and that way people who visit your blog can then go straight to the other websites and resources you used. However this can also be time consuming and in a world where there are not enough hours in the day it can be understood.
